Dr Cassell has been in private practice since 1995. He has had extensive experience in working with athletes of every level from novice to the pro ranks and been involved with such events as the 4 nations cup, Canada Games, Telus Cup, NCAA, NHL, Scotties, among others. During this time Dr. Cassell has also served as President of the NLCA, CMCC Board of Governors, NLCB member. Today Dr Cassell operates a family style practice with mostly hands on techniques. He is experienced with Workplace NL and MVA injuries as well as the injuries we can all get ourself into on a regular basis. All patients are welcome

Cassandra received her bachelor of Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2017, completing her last work term with proactive. Cassandra then continued her studies at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, graduating with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy in 2020. Cassandra takes special interest in rehabilitation following work related injuries, completing an independent qualitative research study in this area for her Master’s dissertation.
Currently, in her free time Cassandra is an avid hiker who loves to explore Newfoundland’s beautiful east coast trails. She also has a sports history playing basketball and soccer, as well as competitive cheerleading, competing both nationally and internationally. Cassandra enjoys working with proactive because of the large community presence, combined with the variety of services and support offered.
